Easter 2015

Engaging Eliot Installation

Inspired by T. S. Eliot’s Four Quartets, the Engaging Eliot exhibit is installed in King’s College Chapel and and includes a series of radiant paintings by distinguished artists and DITA partners Makoto Fujimara and Bruce Herman. The installation’s reception features a reading of T. S. Eliot’s poetry by actress Juliet Stevenson interleaved with cello music by Bach as well as an address by Eliot expert and esteemed theologian Dr. Rowan Williams. An internationally renowned exhibit, the installation at Cambridge begins the 2015 Easter at King’s festival.

This exhibition and partnership with these artists lays the foundation for the Theology, Modernity, and Visual Art project directed by Professor Ben Quash at the Centre for Arts and the Sacred at King’s College London.
