Art, Creation, and the Vocation of Placemaking

with Jennifer Allen Craft and Norman Wirzba

This presentation addressed the ways that the arts draw us into more loving perception and practice within the natural environment, along with revealing the vocation of placemaking that all humans share. Particularly, this workshop explored the way that the arts call us into more just action in God’s good creation, and therefore might be a central way that we consider theological education for ecological responsibility in the 21st century. Professor Norman Wirzba offered a response and led a follow-up discussion.
