Sounding the Passion

Our Double Time

The Sounding the Passion conference commences with a poetry reading by Micheal O’Siadhail, celebrated Irish poet and member of the Duke-Cambridge collaboration. O’Siadhail also offers anecdotes and performative reflections on language, and the evening concludes with a public question-and-answer session. Audience members include faculty and students from both Duke Divinity and King’s College—such as composer Sir James MacMillan, Duke Divinity Dean Richard Hayes, Cambridge professor David Ford, and Duke Divinity professor Stanley Hauerwas.
